In response to increasing demand for AI integration and faster, more accurate document processing in the insurance sector, Belgium-based document processing service provider, Input For You, partnered with Netcall, a leading provider of AI-powered automation and customer engagement solutions.

Since adopting Netcall’s AI-driven intelligent document processing solution (Liberty IDP), Input For You has significantly reduced the average wait time of payback claims from 20 days to under four for its insurance and health insurance clients. Straight-through processing (STP) rates of 70-80% are also being achieved for certain documents, with some reaching as high as 95%.

Before introducing Liberty IDP, Input For You relied on a large team to handle document processing. This included 200 data entry employees who used a dual-entry system where two people entered the same content.

The DocFlow application compared the entries generating a structured file if they matched, with any discrepancies being resolved by an additional person. There was also a need for multiple operations and administration staff to manage paper-based processes such as receiving post, preparing and scanning documents, and a further 15 developers who would support and maintain internal systems.

However, since leveraging Liberty IDP’s AI capabilities, Input For You has been able to streamline its operations allowing those employees to move away from manual processing activity, and focus on other areas to boost efficiency and productivity within the business. The ability to dramatically reduce manual processing time in this way has enabled the business to scale – taking on more customers and larger contracts.

Today, using the new IDP technology from Netcall, Input For You achieves an impressive 99.5% accuracy rate, optimising inbound document workflows and giving its clients faster access to more reliable data. Working with Belgium’s largest health insurer, Input For You has also successfully converted 92% of customer correspondence into digital format, compared to 100% paper 10 years previously.

No matter the channel or workflow, Input For You now uses Liberty IDP to classify each document and extract the relevant data and metadata. Unstructured information is transformed into a structured format and integrated into the client’s backend applications to ensure exceptional accuracy.
