  • The objective of the company is to consolidate a global technological organisation that responds to the needs and demands of both business and customers
  • Spain, Colombia, and Brazil have been selected as global centres due to their positioning as strategic countries for the company, as well as the favourable environment for technological development, supported by recognised educational institutions, innovation ecosystems, and highly trained talent

MAPFRE, a global insurance innovation leader, today announced that it is taking a firm step in its transformation plan with a strategy for attracting technological talent. The company will incorporate more than 100 highly qualified professionals and will create three specialised hubs in Spain, Colombia, and Brazil to act as global innovation and development centres.

The three hubs will operate under a single model of operation and development, with a modular and scalable structure designed to accelerate the delivery of digital solutions, optimise processes, and provide personalised customer experiences. The approach includes profiles in architecture, product development, data, AI, and cybersecurity.

The purpose of these global centres is to scale technological capabilities and decentralise knowledge in order to provide a better response to the company’s needs in any of the countries where it operates, in a faster, more personalised, and closer manner. The company has teams specialised in different geographies, which provides it with both local knowledge and global reach.

“MAPFRE is a leader in transforming its sector, and it is making a great effort to continue being a company that cares for people. That is why we want to consolidate a global technological organisation, capable of responding swiftly to the demands of the business and our customers,” said Vanessa Escrivá, Group CIO of MAPFRE.

In this line, we seek professionals who want to be part of a transformative project, with real impact and international projection,” said continued.

With this plan, MAPFRE strengthens its position as an attractive option for technological profiles aiming to drive the future of the insurance industry. The company offers a multicultural, dynamic, and collaborative environment with professional growth opportunities, establishing itself as a benchmark in the new technological ecosystem of the sector.
