At ITC Vegas, we partnered with Wisedocs, a leader in AI medical records summary, to better understand how trust in AI is forming across the claims ecosystem and explore how claims professionals evaluate AI in practice. Through a series of conversations with industry leaders recorded at the Wisedocs booth, we explored how much trust AI earns on its own, how that trust changes when expert review is involved, and where AI is having, or could have, the greatest impact across the claims document review process.

In this installment, we speak with Tony Lew, Co-Founder and Managing Director, Insurtech NY, to find out his views on the current and potential impact of AI in claims assessment and how he feels is the best way to evaluate the AI solutions available. During the interview, Tony explains that there are different to leverage AI and in his opinion, the best way to evaluate the different options is by figuring out “which (solution) is more accurate and can be implemented in a quicker, more efficient way”.
