As he explains: “We provide alerts 48 hours in advance at a property level, detail that allow our customers, or the customers of our customers, to prepare and mitigate the cost of floods.”
When asked about the biggest opportunity in insurance, Aleksander focuses on the scale of the flood protection gap and the need to improve resilience across the market. He highlights the disconnect between risk exposure and customer preparedness, and the opportunity this creates for the industry to step in more effectively. As he puts it: “The biggest opportunity for the insurance sector is really, really the flood insurance gap… it’s really all about mitigation and resilience.”
